McConnel enters the commercial zero-turn mower market with the unveiling of the new Z350. Designed for fine-turf environments such as parks, golf courses, and urban green areas, the Z350 boasts a 35hp engine, a 1.5m cutting deck, and on-the-spot turning capabilities. These features enhance work rates by enabling operators to mow efficiently around obstacles and within confined areas.
Powered by the latest fuel-efficient Kawasaki FX petrol engine and equipped with a heavy-duty Hydro-Gear transaxle, the Z350 achieves speeds of up to 14mph.
Precise steering is ensured by two ergonomically positioned control levers that regulate oil flow to the rear hydraulic drive motors. Large-diameter turf tires, shock-absorbing front casters, and optimal weight distribution maximise traction and stability while minimising turf damage.
The robust 1.5m rotary deck, engineered from 5mm steel plate, features three belt-driven rotors, each fitted with two up-draft cutting blades that produce a fine mulch and an attractive finish. Cutting height adjustment can be finely tuned between 25mm to 125mm in 6mm increments.
Designed with operator comfort and safety in mind, the Z350 features an easily accessible operator platform with unobstructed 360-degree visibility, a high-back adjustable seat, and an ergonomically positioned control panel. Additional operator safety measures include a low center of gravity, retractable seat belt, and foldable rollover protection bar.
The Z350 zero-turn mower is now available through McConnel’s dealer network, with demonstrations offered upon request.
