Xtracto, the impact wrench powered extraction tool launched across the UK and Europe in May 2026, will make its first appearance at Groundsfest and the APF Exhibition this September.

The events will provide the first opportunity for professionals in the landscaping, arboriculture and forestry sectors to see the equipment demonstrated in a live working environment since its launch.
Designed to remove tree stakes, fence posts, saplings and other ground-fixed materials, Xtracto applies a controlled vertical pulling force, offering an alternative to more labour-intensive manual extraction methods. Manufactured in Canada, the product is available across the UK and Europe through SPA Power Machinery.
The tool has been developed for use in landscape maintenance, forestry, estates management and tree planting projects, where the removal of stakes and posts can be time-consuming. Its interchangeable hook system enables operators to tackle a range of stake and post types using the same unit, while helping to minimise disturbance to surrounding ground conditions.
Laurie Anthony of European distributors SPA Power Machinery said: “Since launching Xtracto earlier this year, we’ve had interest from a wide range of sectors, and we’re really looking forward to introducing it to the professional landscaping and forestry industries at this years events. Live demonstrations provide the best opportunity for visitors to see how the tool works and understand where it could fit into their own operations.”
Both exhibitions will mark Xtracto’s first dedicated showcase to the professional grounds care and forestry markets. Visitors will be able to see the machine in operation and discuss its suitability for a range of outdoor maintenance applications with the team.
Xtracto will be demonstrated at Groundsfest on 9 and 10 September, followed by the APF Exhibition from 24 to 26 September 2026.
