It is a misnomer to purely call a Ventrac a ride-on mower The Ventrac 4520 compact tractor has over 32 different attachments, all designed by Ventrac to optimise the performance of each combination. However, its true to say that 11 of those attachments are mowers. Everything from Rotary Finishing mowers, Contour Decks, Brush Cutters, Tough Cut Mowers, Reel Mowers and Reciprocating Boom Mowers. All the attachments are designed by Ventrac to specifically match the 4520 Tractor, distributed in the UK & Ireland by Price Turfcare.

All of the attachments can be swapped over using the unique Ventrac Mount System enabling implement change over by one man, without tools, in a matter of minutes. In the morning you could be fine turf mowing with a contour deck or reels and in the afternoon trimming hedges or taming overgrown scrub land with a boom mower or Tough Cut Deck. With the optional rear three point hitch you can carry a second attachment to a distant site, making your day even more efficient.
Why are hundreds of customers in the UK considering sub 25hp mowers? The advent of more sophisticated exhaust emission Stage V technology for diesel engines over 25hp (18.6kW) has meant that many larger diesel ride-on mowers have experienced a significant price increase since January 2019. The Ventrac is Stage V compliant but as the engine is sub 25hp it does not need sophisticated exhaust emission cleaning technology. The Ventrac drive train is simple but efficient, ensuring more of the 25hp available gets to the attachment. This enables more of the customers purchasing power to be invested in job delivery features and technology rather than engine technology. More end users are beginning to consider this as they strive to deliver tasks to their clients more efficiently at an acceptable price.
