When the time came to look for a new mower to manage their grass maintenance programme they reviewed the mower market to see what existed and kept coming back to MAJOR. “We were looking for longevity, reliability and quality of finish,” explained Chris Kelly. “We had a demo of the MAJOR Swift 2.4m model and it confirmed our gut feel that the MAJOR brand was as good as it gets. It was also well-priced and good value for money. It leaves a finish that is equal to any cylinder mower – it’s incredible.”
The MAJOR Swifts are made of high-performance Strenx 700MC steel and hot-dipped galvanised for increased lifespan. Four rotors with eight blades that overlap by 60cm delivers accurate cutting across the entire width of the machine.
“We maintain the pitch for Poole Town FC and the Directors have commented on how well the playing surface is since we began using the MAJOR Swift,” continues Chris. “Chelsea Football Club trained on the pitch before their game with Bournemouth. Some of their team representatives even thought that the grass pitch looks like a 3G surface – that’s an amazing compliment,” concluded Chris.
