One attachment, the Power Broom, has proved particularly beneficial at both venues.
Along with the Power Broom, Leicester City’s package included the Ventrac 4500 all-terrain compact tractor in dual-wheel configuration, a Contour mowing deck and Trencher.

The Power Broom does a great job on the pathways and carparks and we’ve used the Trencher to insert drainage bands in some particularly wet areas of the golf course. The Contour deck helps us maintain the numerous banks and sloped areas around the complex, including ‘Mount Vardy’, the nickname we’ve given to a landscaped area of unused spoil from the original build. It is also used on the golf course where its articulated design prevents scalping.”
Darren Baldwin, Head of Playing Surfaces and Estates at Tottenham, has absolutely no regrets about purchasing his Ventrac package to help maintain the 77-acre Premier League training complex.
“Everything we do is done to the highest standard, be it playing surfaces, general turf maintenance or the presentation of the complex as a whole,” he said. “The Ventrac just adds to the efficiency of our fleet in a perfect way; it’s biggest attribute is its versatility. It’s one tractor but there’s a whole range of applications that it can be used for.
“We have large areas of hard landscaped areas at the training centre and the Power Broom has been fantastic. We also use it to relieve the compaction of the rubber crumb infill and is an integral part of our synthetic turf maintenance programme. Like our mower attachments and trencher, the broom is quick and easy to change and when not in use they are free-standing, which also helps with the yard management of our equipment.”
